1 kg Chicken whole or cut into pieces - r
2 Tbsp Melam Tandoori Masala - r
1 Tsp Garlic & Ginger Paste - r
1 Kime - r
1 cup Curd / Youghurt - r
Salt to taste - r
2 Tbsp Oil - r
Tandoori colour (Orange Red – optional)

Method:

Clean chicken. Drain away all the water and cut slits over it. - r
Mix all the ingredients expect oil and marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours - r
Apply the oil on chicken and cook in the tandoor or oven - r
Serve hot garnished with onion rings and slices of lime - r
Chicken pieces can also be fried in oil.

Note: Tandoori Fish can be prepared in the same way. Butter chicken can be made by frying 1 chopped onion in 2 tbsp butter and adding left over masala mixture and 1 tbsp of tomato sauce. Add the preppared chicken pieces and serve hot.
