Description
Sambal sauce, a typical Malaysian tart and tangy sauce combining tomato, chilli and tamarind, is best used to cook prawns or mixed seafood. It can also be added to stir-fried chicken for a tangy twict.

Ingredients; Water, tomato paste, onion, sugar, soya bean oil, garlic, galangal, chilli, lemongrass, modified starch (1422), tamarind, candlenuts, salt, dried chilli, curry leaves.
Allergen: Soya. Made in a factory processing peanuts.
Sambal Prawns
Serves 3-4

Ingredients Required
- 1 can Ayam Malaysian Sambal Sauce 250ml
- 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
Cooking Instructions:
- Empty Ayam Sambal Sauce into saucepan and bring to boil.
- Stir in prawns, reduce heat and simmer until prawns are cooked (approximately 10 minutes).
- Serve with steamed rice.
Hint: Replace prawns with squid or other seafood. Either add 1 small onion (cut in wedges) or 1 cup of cut beans (2 cm in length) with prawns and cook together.
