    1 kg Chicken whole or cut into pieces

    2 Tbsp Melam Tandoori Masala

    1 Tsp Garlic & Ginger Paste

    1 Kime
  • r

  • r
    1 cup Curd / Youghurt

    Salt to taste

    2 Tbsp Oil
  • r

  • r
    Tandoori colour (Orange Red – optional)

Method:

  1. r
    Clean chicken. Drain away all the water and cut slits over it.
  2. r

    Mix all the ingredients expect oil and marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours
  4. r

    Apply the oil on chicken and cook in the tandoor or oven
  6. r

    Serve hot garnished with onion rings and slices of lime
  8. r

    Chicken pieces can also be fried in oil. 
  10. r

Note: Tandoori Fish can  be prepared in the same way. Butter chicken can be made by frying 1 chopped onion in 2 tbsp butter and adding left over masala mixture and 1 tbsp of tomato sauce. Add the preppared chicken pieces and serve hot.
